   Now available for the first time on vinyl, this deluxe 3LP box set not only includes all 40 tracks from the Preflyte Sessions CD, but also 8 tracks from a demo real mixed by producer Jim Dickson as their Columbia audition reel, including unreleased takes of "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "You Showed Me" and unheard World Pacific tracks like "She's the Kind of Girl," "Everybody's Been Burned" and "I'm /5(29).

   Way back in the year , a little-known record company called Together Records released a little gem of album called PREFLYTE by the finest sixties rock 'n' roll band, America's own, The Byrds. In that era most records were sold in drug stores and that's where I found this neat little curio/5(29).

   Preflyte is a compilation album by the American folk rock band the Byrds and was released in July on Together Records (see in music). The album is a collection of demos recorded by the Byrds (then named the Jet Set) at World Pacific Studios in Los Angeles during , before the band had signed to Columbia Records and become famous.
